Big weekend for Rally America fans. The Waste Management Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally starts today. It’s the second race of the season, and the debut for the new 08 STI car. There are 2 new 08’s - Travis Pastrana/Derek Ringer and Ken Block/Alessandro Gelsomino, www.drivingsports.com had good interviews with both teams (links coming once they get them posted).

Pretty exciting news for Subie fans. It was announced at the Oregon Trail race that the new cars were going to be used at STPR. The car is very similar to the WRC 08 STI, which took second place in it’s debut at Acropolis.

Driving Sports will have live video and blog for the STPR, and check out the sponsor - none other than they guys at Perrin Performance (Nice work Jeff, John, and Adam). There is a pretty sweet video of the Rockstar Cars getting some love at the Perrin shop before the Oregon Trail race.
